   CMFA Events 2010 . . . .

EVENTS FOR 2010 During the year the club tries to hold various events at the airfield and 2010 is no exception, with no less than five separate activities spread out over the course of the season. This will include club trophy competitions, a Try 'n' Fly weekend when the club opens its doors to non members and the public to try there hand at flying. Also a Gala day with flying demonstrations, competitions, BBQ and refreshments, a Scale day for all models, including own build, ARTF, and purchased. Finally the CMFA pylon race, the final being held at the Gala day. All events are subject to weather conditions.

March 10th CMFA Club Night including Guest speaker Colin Straus. The talk will be mainly about the installation and operation of model turbines in model jets. Also the onboard ancillaries required to operate turbines. The Broomfield Community Centre

Pylon Race 1st Practice		 CMFA members compete for the Dave Willsher Memorial cup at the flying field.

30th		 Try & Fly Weekend The CMFA invite members of the public young and old to try their hand at flying a remote controlled aircraft. With the aid of the buddy lead system and one of the clubs qualified instructors, models and all equipment will be provided free.
Refreshments and Barbeque. Flying starts 10am until 4pm.

July 4th CMFA Gala Day + Dave Willsher Memorial Cup Pylon Race Final CMFA members demonstrate their flying skills with a range of model fixed wing aircraft, gliders and helicopters. The winner of the Dave Willsher Memorial cup will be decided in the pylon race final. Refreshments and Barbeque.
